PostSubject: Duelling Restriction Act   Wed Mar 18, 2009 6:52 pm

Dueling Restriction Act (1565)

In the interest of public safety, all dueling in the towns, villages and cities of Hyrule is strictly prohibited. The only exceptions are duels performed in officially designated areas such as dojos, training grounds and tournament grounds. A list of such designated areas will be posted as a topic in the rules section.

Consequences of breaking this law will include imprisonment for five days and a fine if no serious harm as been sustained by either party or bystanders.

If serious injury has been inflicted to the other participant, a sentence of two weeks and seizure of all weaponry will be implemented along with the fine.

If a bystander is injured a three week sentence, seizure of weaponry and fine will be combined with a compulsory training period in fighting; which will take place after the sentence has been completed.

If a death occurs, a life sentence, seizure of all lands, funds and weaponry will be the punishment.
